Lynton's
Match Report |
Once again it was off to Adelaide oval on a Friday night. Not as good as going to Alberton for a home game but HEAPS better than
Norwood. The crowd will probably justify the move though but I haven't seen the
figures yet.
This report will be brief as once again I can only highlight the fact that we never gave it away and could have pinched the game with a few less errors and a bit of luck in the last. I thought we were clearly beaten by a better side last week but
tonight felt that the umpiring had an undue influence on the game -
particularly in the first half. In short I thought they were shockingly inconsistent and favoured 1 side on close decisions.
How 2 similar situations can result in 1 strong decision and 1 no decision astounds
me. I better not trespass into ego land any further as coaches get fined
don't they? How long before its the supporters??
Well to wrap up, well done to the Ressies again for another good
win. Would you believe that someone looking like LEYSY was seen running around??
Better players as I saw them in the main game were Rhino
(wouldn't it be great if he had support), Tony Brown, Nige, Wilbur,
Locky, Burgers, and then a lot of others who refused to give it away,
but the use of the ball has to improve heaps if we want to be about in the finals as does the giving away of stupid free kicks.
IT CAN ONLY GET BETTER HANG IN THERE.
Regards Lynton
