Lynton's Match Report
I am starting to feel like anything but a Maggie supporter. Anyone else BUT Port loses games so consistently and without much grunt. The less said about this (another) shocking effort the better - we made the opposition LOOK a million dollars although all their fairweathers would say otherwise.

I will never cease to be amazed at how the crowd on the members side can suddenly increase when they are winning!!! Where do they all come from??

Enough of that - obviously I was wrong last week when I said we had hit the pits; WE AINT THERE YET!!! The inclusion of a couple e.g Beinkes, Jules and Fiegs made some difference but it didn't fix the attitude problem and neither did Leysey as much as he tried with the voice (the Ressies seemed a bit lost without him today).

Injuries to Tommy Carr and Brades with the expected loss of Beinkes to the Tingles next week will not put me in positive frame of mind for the Sturt game.

I have little more to say about the game but it would be unfair not to mention the debut game of Aaron Davey, as no doubt many outside the Club would have noticed. He showed great poise and skills at every opportunity.

I also liked Burgers game and there were probably several other good contributors like Jules (early) but they are hard to see when the side plays like today. Best leave the best alone!!.

PLEASE guys give me something POSITIVE to write next week AS THERE IS NO WAY I can build up what I have been seeing lately.............
